Unlike some old facilities, each room in the Secure-store is individually alarmed and all movements are recorded and monitored in Reception. If the
unit door is opened without the correct PIN authorisation, an alarm will go off throughout the facility
Your own padlock. You choose your own padlock and only you have the keys
Storage security keypads. Each customer has their own private PIN code
CCTV cameras. Not the grainy images you see used by petrol stations and corner shops, these are high definition, multi-pixel images. Some older
self-storage facilities only actually have 3-4 cameras. At The Secure-store there are numerous cameras mounted both internally: in the office, loading bays and corridors
and externally as well. To give you peace of mind
Recorded images. Some companies utilise older cameras with time delays or on 5 second time gaps. Our CCTV cameras are either movement
sensitive or run continuously 24 hours a day. Equally importantly, recordings can be kept for months at a time, in digital format, on a hard drive
The corridors are wide and well lit
All customers must provide a formal document with a photo such as a passport or drivers licence and a recent utility bill with their address
Your goods are not loaded in wooden crates and shunted around by forklift trucks. Can you imagine what would happen to a china crockery set
that was in a thin wooden box and dropped, even 3 inches, when being moved? You alone load and unload your possessions unless you choose a man & van or removals
firm to do it.
Staff are on hand during normal hours of business. Out of hours the alarm system are monitored remotely with Redcare.
